We had to do a creative color on our models and I chose a color melt, which is typically an ombre. My model was Tiffany and she didn't want her ombre blonde or too light so we did a light brown. We didn't have enough time to style her hair but it would look pretty cute with curls.

Model Day #2
Hey guys! I haven't blogged in so long because I literally go to sleep before 10PM now. Since I have to get up super early for work. I napped a lot today so I guess that's why I'm still up. Anyways, we had our second model day a couple weeks ago. My sister's friend volunteered to be my model. This one was a one length cut, and after we've accomplished that, we were allowed to do layered cuts on our models if that was what they wanted since not a lot of people are fans of one lengths.
I found this more difficult than the first model day, haha. I ended up doing three different cuts on her. So first I did the one length by cutting off three inches, which turned out pretty good (I forgot to take a picture, bummer). I'm getting the hang of cutting in a straight line. But she didn't want to leave with a blunt cut like that so I did some long horizontal layers. However, for some reason it didn't make that much of a difference.. I took off three more inches though! I had to consult with her for a while to see what she wanted to do and we decided to give her another one length cut but with a wide stripper v.
Here's the end result!
The cuts were pretty basic and not complicated, but doing three cuts took me a while and I was the last person in my class to finish. But s'all gooood. It was a really good experience for me. Our next model day is coming up and it'll be color! Stay tuned.(:

(I forgot to take a picture so I had my sister do it the next day and idk why she didn't try to make the hair look nice and even first..but it's even!)

Facebook Page
Here is the link to the Facebook page I was talking about:
Want to be a model?
If you are interested, like the page and check back often as we have new projects every few weeks. Message me or comment on the Facebook page if you would like to volunteer or for more information.
At Cinta Aveda Institute, we need models to practice what we learned in class and apply it on a real person. Anybody who is interested may volunteer and we appreciate everyone who does, because it really helps us learn.
